Exploring Happiness

How do you know when you feel happy? Is it a feeling in your mind? Does your breath feel even and smooth? Is it when your smile is authentic? As August begins, we see the beauty of summer continue. This past week I did some personal reflection on this time of year. Summer has always been the time of year when I feel most connected with my truest self. The hot days, the warm evenings, and from time to time the cooler breeze that brings a welcomed change after a storm; it brings me feelings of contentment.

Journaling and Meditation Ideas: What has brought you happiness this summer?
